The Eighth Order Tomahawk is a throw back to the old Hudson Bay Axes present in the St. Lawrence Region, the Great Lakes, and south into Ohio beginning in the early 1600's. These early axes and hatchets all became commonly referred to as Tomahawks in the new world fur trade. These Tomahawks pay homage to the history of where Eighth Order calls home and the Native Americans who lived and flourished on these lands.

These beautifully handcrafted tools are once again built by Eighth Order teammate Makai Metal Works. Makai Metal Works is a U.S. Navy Veteran owned small business based in Virginia Beach. Their business was born out of loss, the loss of a friend and teammate. Getting their start inside of a Conex box in Hawaii, Makai learned the craft of hand forging from a Navy teammate. That teammate was later lost at sea, and after many struggles, Makai Metal Works found the outlet from sorrow in the hammer and anvil. They now Carry Forward that teammates warrior legacy in the forge, crafting unique blades and tools to honor him and help other Veterans struggling from the battlefield.
