Mission #F-001 comes from the uniform of Founder and President of Eighth Order, William Romes. The lineage of this uniform began in 2010 during pre-deployment training at Camp McGregor, the training Annex to Fort Bliss. Wearing brand new Master Sergeant stripes on his sleeves, Romes rolled out of Fort Bliss on his way to Baghdad, Iraq.
As Operation Iraqi Freedom transitioned to Operation New Dawn, Romes was tasked with establishing an Iraqi Air Force/Army Security Forces Schoolhouse. With the help of Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (A) Soldiers, a curriculum was built to incorporate AK-47 weapons qualifications and courses of fire, installation defense, and security, Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT), mounted and dismounted patrols, and protective security detail operations. William received students from three Iraqi bases in the Baghdad area and took his training team on the road to deliver instruction at Kirkuk, Iraq.
You can now purchase a piece of history, and the rest of William's story as they accompany each sale of a Mission #F-001 shirt.
